Laser Cut Versions
Mdf Bricks, Ply Cement...
I spent around 3 hours in the laser cutting room in order to get my design cut out.
I used 2 different types of wood to give contrast to the design.
I used MDF and Birch Ply to create the A2 piece.
Ply Bricks, MDF Cement etc...
Because I cut out the design from both types of wood I
was able to swap the parts over to get 2 separate designs
I think the Ply bricks version works better, the text has a bit of a shadow as it is set in
to the design, this is because the MDF is 3mm and the Ply is 4mm. The bricks stand
out more too. I will be able to replace some of the bricks with mirrors on Tuesday.
